The Wow! Signal: 72 Seconds That Never Repeated

Ohio State Radio Observatory, near Delaware, Ohio

THE EDITORIAL STANDARD

A good question deserves a careful answer.

A compelling story still has to answer to its sources. We show the available record, the disputed details, and the gaps. We do not independently verify every third-party claim.

01

Follow the source trail.

Source ledgers identify records, reporting, interviews, archives and other material whenever practical.

02

The place is part of the story.

A verified map pin supports the geographic location. It is not a certification that every claim in the story is true.
